TAMPA, FL -- Cops say a Tampa woman left her 4-month-old son in a hot car while she burglarized a home.
21-year-old Colleen Sullivan faces charges of child neglect and burglary with battery. Hillsborough deputies say the temperature outside reached 93 degrees while the child was left alone in a 1993 Oldsmobile with the windows partially down and the air conditioning off.
Sullivan broke into the home through a sliding glass door.
She was arrested Monday and is being held without bail. She told officers, "Do what you want. I don't want the baby."
This isn't Sullivan's first run-in with the law.
In March of this year, she was charged with theft. In November of 2007, she was charged with child abuse and domestic violence.
Sullivan made her first court appearance Tuesday morning. The judge told her she may never see her baby again.
