TAMPA, FL -- Hundreds of Florida homeowners may finally have some answers about the contaminated Chinese drywall in their homes.
On Thursday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission will release it first round of test results as part of their investigation into Chinese drywall.
According to CPSC spokesperson Patty Davis, the agency conducted tests to find out what's in the drywall, what it omits, and it also did a small initial air sampling study of ten homes in Florida and Louisiana.
As of today, 1,897 U.S. homeowners have reported having Chinese drywall in their home to the CPSC.
661 Florida homeowners have contacted the state Department of Health.
