TAMPA, FL-- Before the final vote on the Democratic House bill, a couple of things are happening.

Speaker Pelosi will allow for a vote on one amendment. The so-called, "Stupak amendment" will toughen language that addresses the federal funding of abortion.

The bill will put a limit on abortion funding by explicitly stating that no one that receives Federal subsidized health care will be able to get an abortion, unless the woman is sick or suffers from other extenuating circumstances.

Many liberal Democrats oppose this amendment as an attack on a woman's right to chose.

There will also be a vote on the Republican health care plan, which they are putting forth as an alternative plan.

The GOP doesn't even hint that they believe they have to the votes for that bill to pass.

Reporter Kerry Kavanaugh just spoke to Republican Congressman Adam Putnam who believes the Democrats do have the votes to pass the bill. Putnam, though says his party will fight the bill until the end.

Voting on the two bills and the Stupak amendment began around 10 p.m.
