TAMPA, FL -- With the 17th pick in the NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fill a need and pick Kansas State QB Josh Freeman.

Freeman has been rumored to be a Buccaneer target for months. Current Bucs Head Coach Raheem Morris was a defensive coordinator at K-State when Freeman started as a freshman quarterback.

Josh Freeman is widely regarded as having an upside that, in a couple years might make him this draft's best quarterback.

During his college career, Freeman threw for over 8,000 yards and 44 touchdowns.
