TAMPA, FL -- A bomb scare at Tampa International Airport is over after officials say an unattended bag found at outside a rental car business does not appear to be suspicious.

A portion of the airport was evacuated after police K-9's discovered the bag outside the return area at the Dollar Rent-A-Car on the blue side of the airport.

Shortly after 2 pm two different dogs alerted officers to the bag, and airport officials alerted the the Tampa Bomb Squad.

The rental car counter was evacuated and the arrivals drop-off on the blue side was also been blocked off, meaning anyone who was trying to pick some one up at the airport on the blue side was re-routed.

Shortly before 4 pm employees at Dollar were allowed back inside and the bomb squad cleared the scene.

No flights were impacted, according to airport spokesman Brenda Geohagen.
