CLEARWATER, FL -- The hottest toy of the holiday season created a Black Friday mad house when the Toys "R" Us opened at midnight.

Shoppers waited all night for the store to open its doors.  When 12am struck, the crowd rushed with their shopping carts to the stack of Zhu Zhu Pets Hamstermobile & Garage boxes.

People threw as many of the toys into their carts as would fit.  Even a 9-year-old girl was carrying four boxes for herself.

Within ninety seconds of the Toys "R" Us opening, the entire stack of Zhu Zhu toys was gone.  Store employees could only look on amazed at the chaos.

The retail price of a Zhu Zhu hamster toy starts under ten dollars - if you can find one. Some buyers on eBay are paying $50 or more for them.
