Bicyclist hit by car in Pinellas County

SEMINOLE, FL -- An elderly man was hit by a car while riding his bike in Seminole Wednesday afternoon.

The man was crossing 90th St. at Park Blvd. when the driver of a white Buick hit him.

The victim was lying in the intersection.  His face was blue and bloodied.  He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the car stopped.  He was not injured.  He told authorities the bicyclist came out of nowhere.
