5-year-old boy saves his father from a diabetic attack in St.Pete

ST.PETERSBURG, FL --St. Petersburg Fire Rescue units responded to 8019 12 Avenue South, for a report of an unconscious person around 7pm.

When crews arrived they found 43-year-old Danny Stephen of St. Petersburg standing in the front yard waiting for emergency crews to arrive.

Stephens told paramedic's that he was alone at home all day with his 5-year-old son Jude. Stephen, who is a diabetic, said he was unconscious most of the day until is Jude, his 5-year-old son Jude poured honey into his mouth along with juice boxes trying to wake his father up.

Well it worked! Fire Rescue Paramedic Dave Fraser, said, "Make no mistake, if Jude hadn't acted so quickly and intelligently, the worst case scenario in a diabetic case like this could have been very serious, maybe even death."

Fraser called the five year old a real hero!
