FROSTPROOF, FL  -- Brothers Jose and Jorge Santos Mata and Augusto Lemos were arrested on murder charges in the murder of 31-year-old Julio Villatoro.

Lemos met the EMS unit dispatched to 68 Brooks Ridge Road for a report of a man who had supposedly killed himself.

Villatoro's body was supposed to be near the tree line.

Lemos told detectives the body was moved by the Mata brothers.  Divers were called in and checked out a pond near the area where they recovered the body.

Detectives determined Villatoro was murdered and the three were arrested a short time later.  The investigation revealed the group was partying Sunday evening when they got into a fight.  Detectives say Villatoro was taken out of the house and held down while his throat was slashed.

All of the men work for M. Avellaneda Harvesting in Frostproof.

The three are scheduled for a first appearance in court today.
