11 arrested in Clearwater prostitution and drug sting

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police arrested eleven individuals during a prostitution and narcotics sting Wednesday night.

Officers posed as decoys in the North Fort Harrison and Gateway Corridor areas of Clearwater from Wednesday evening to early Thursday morning and made arrests based on various charges.

The charges include Felony and Misdemeanor Soliciting for Prostitution, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Deriving Proceeds from Prostitution.

The sting was part of an operation conducted by Clearwater Police targeting prostitution and narcotics activity in the area.
