April 13th is Wawa Day at Wawa stores across Florida. The day honors the opening of the first Wawa store in Folsom, Pennsylvania in 1964.
The company is hosting in store-celebrations at one location in all six states it operates.
In Florida, the celebration is being held at 9:00 a.m. at the Wawa at 2502 North 50th Street in Tampa. Officials from the Wawa Foundation will present checks to local charities, including Feeding Tampa Bay and the Tampa Police Athletic League.
In celebration of Wawa Day, every Wawa store in Florida will be offering customers free coffee on Thursday.
