Two divers got a really close call while in the waters off the central California coast at Souza Rock.
Two humpback whales gulping fish surfaced just a few feet away from the diver, mouths agape.
If the divers had been just a few feet over they could have been caught in the whales' mouths.
Humpback whales are not aggressive towards humans, but the divers certainly could have faced dangers had they been swept up into the whales' mouths.
