.
This Thursday, the organization hosts it's Fourth Annual Bowling Tournament benefiting the Children's Medical Center at Tampa General Hospital.

Community leaders, citizens, and businesses sponsor bowling teams led by a local celebrity. Among the team leaders are ACTION AIR pilot Captain Al and myself.

Firstly, we are both honored  to be considered local celebrities.

Several other recognizable names in the community, including Mayor Bob Buckhorn, are participating.

The Tower Foundation is the charitable arm of Tower Diagnostic Centers located throughout Tampa, Brandon and Wesley Chapel.

The Foundation started in 2009. According to it's website, since it's inception the non profit has helped the Women's Resource Center of Tampa, Judeo Christian Health Clinic, Clinic of Angels, Ronald McDonald House, Faces of Courage, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the Lowry Park Zoo.

All the achievements are thanks to private donations and the annual events including the Bowling Tournament.

The Tower Foundation is proud to make a difference in our Tampa Bay Community and hope you can help.

They need more people to draft the celebrities.

The event is on September 27, 2012 at PinChasers located at 4847 North Armenia Tampa, FL 33603.

Registration is at 6:30 PM and the event begins at 7:00.
