Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park is tucked away off Highway 19 in Port Richey.

This beautiful state park offers excellent fishing and makes for great scenery while paddleboarding, kayaking or boating. The varies inlets and bayous offer hidden places that are fun to explore while out on the water.

Wildlife that is often seen there includes grey fox, gopher tortoises, and dolphins. It is also a great spot for bird watchers.

If you are looking to swim, or lay on the beach, this is not the park for you. This park is best enjoyed in a boat, or other water vessel.

Terry Tomlin recently explored the marshes and bayous of the park for his latest episode of "Everyday Adventures."

For directions, hours and fees check out the park's website here.
