Hazmat crews responded to and repaired a gas leak in Hillsborough County on Wednesday.
Deputies say construction crews hit a gas line in the 8500 block of West Hillsborough Avenue in a shopping plaza. There is an Aldi, Burger King and CVS located in the shopping center.
The evacuation order for surrounding apartments and businesses was lifted around noon on Wednesday.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue says the leak was clamped and secured.
