In November of 2014 a Tampa Bay Rays fan tweeted his prediction for the 2016 World Series and the 2-year-old tweet is now going viral after his prediction really happened.

On the day that former Tampa Bay Rays manager, Joe Maddon, was introduced as the new manager of the Chicago Cubs, (November 4, 2014), @RaysFanGio sent out the viral tweet.

He said that the Cubs would be playing the Indians in the 2016 World Series. He was right about that.

Then he said the world would end with the score tied in game seven in extra innings with the hashtag apocalypse. He was half-right. The score was tied in game seven. Oh, and there was a rain delay between the 9th and 10th innings (not an apocalypse, but definitely a tease for all fans involved). Then, the Chicago Cubs made history and won the game in 10 innings, beating the Cleveland Indians 8 to 7.

So, should we be preparing for the end of the world? Ask @RaysFanGio what he thinks on twitter.

Many twitter users are accusing the twitter user of faking the tweet but he seems to have an army of friends backing him up and with over 150K retweets and 120K likes, the tweet that was posted at 12:23 p.m. on the 4th of November in 2014 is definitely going viral.

So, @RaysFanGio, who's going to win the election?
