BRADENTON, Fla. - 9:30AM UPDATE | Nine-year-old Caleb Steele of Bradenton has been found safe, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said. He spent Saturday night at a friend's house.
ORIGINAL STORY | A 9-year-old boy went missing in Bradenton Saturday night, Manatee County sheriff's deputies said.
Caleb N. Steele was last seen at home in the 3800 block of Fifth St. E. about 7 p.m. Saturday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
He left home on foot trying to follow his older brother, who left on a bicycle.
At the time, Caleb's brother did not know Caleb left home to follow him, deputies said.
Caleb is 4-foot-11, weighs 95 pounds, has short, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange "Sarasota Redskins" football shirt, lime green shorts, black Nike sneakers with white logo.
