TAMPA - The 46th annual Tampa Boat show continues today at the Tampa Convention Center.
In addition to hundreds of boats and marine products for sale on land and in-water, the Bay Area's largest boat show offers fun and educational attractions for boaters of all ages and experience levels.
ABC Action News contributor Sean Daly will join us live to show off some of the boats, and talk to Jake and Josh Harris from the hit show Deadliest Catch.
Boaters of any age can enjoy free interactive and educational on-the-water programs at the Discover Boating Resource Center. Courses this year include ski boat rides, close quarter boat handing, and an introduction to sailing.
Daily free fishing educational sessions will be offered at the Fishing Center. Some of Bay Area's top anglers will share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport.
Enjoy music on the Party Barge. Outside the convention center on the in-water floating docks, the barge will have live music and cold drink specials all weekend. It is a great place to meet other boaters and enjoy music from local bands.
The Tampa Boat Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults. Children age 15 and under are free. All military personnel, EMTs, firefighters, and police get in to the show for free on Sunday with valid ID.
