Santa comes to St. Pete bringing snow and more

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. - The 86th annual Santa Parade starts Saturday at 10 a.m. in Saint Petersburg. The parade gets going at 10 a.m. starting at Central Avenue traveling toward Bayshore Drive.

Along with Santa's Parade, a wintry spectacular kicks off at North Straub Park. Sixty-five tons of snow will blank part of the park for the city's Snowfest. That is where Sean Daly, ABC Action News entertainment reporter, joins us from this Saturday.

There is a "glice" ice skating rink, kiddlyland, reindeer races and a kiddie toboggan slide, plus so much more.

Skating is $5 for 30 minute skate sessions.
