Two teens were arrested in a police parking lot for intending to sell marijuana.

Earlier this week, an Indian Shores police officer found Andrew McCabe, parked in the police department's parking lot. McCabe, 18, appeared to be asleep in the driver's seat, according to an arrest affidavit. The officer smelled marijuana from inside the vehicle and asked McCabe where it was located.

McCabe pulled out a digital scale, rolling papers, rolling papers and a zip top plastic bag of a leafy, green substance that tested positive for THC. McCabe admitted ownership to the plastic bag and rolling papers, but denied having ownership of the rest of the items.

The bag weighed 63.8 grams.

Cameron Kelly, 19, was contacted since he is the owner of the vehicle McCabe was in. He admitted that him and McCabe are partners in selling marijuana.

McCabe bonded out of Pinellas County Jail on Monday. Kelly remains in jail.
