TAMPA - A picture posted to Facebook that garnered hundreds of responses has brought about sweeping changes at a dining hall on the campus of the University of South Florida.
Freshman Zach Nelson posted a picture March 20, of what he said was undercooked chicken served to him in late January at the Juniper-Poplar Dining Hall.
After Nelson posted the photo to the USF Dining Hall Facebook page, the company that runs the food services, Aramark, brought in new staff members.
Students said there have been positive changes made in the last week, both to the quality of the service and the quality of the food.
Aramark sent the following statement to ABC Action News: "Serving safe, nutritious and quality food is our top priority. We take these matters very seriously and immediately addressed the concerns that we have received."
