The Powerball jackpot is now a whopping $478 million after no tickets matched all six numbers in Wednesday's drawing.

The jackpot has now rolled over 23 times since a winning ticket was last sold on May 7.

The winning numbers for Wednesday were 10, 47, 50, 65 and 68. The Powerball was 24.

There were 151,861 winning tickets sold in Florida including one that matched five numbers and is worth $2 million. Five other tickets matched four numbers and the Powerball and are worth $50,000.

The $478 million jackpot is the eighth largest in U.S. history. It is also the third Powerball jackpot this year to make the top ten list of largest lottery prizes in American history.

The chance of winning the Powerball jackpot is 292.2 million-to-1. The deadline to purchase tickets for the next drawing is 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
