TALLAHASSEE - The Powerball lottery jackpot is going where it's gone only a few times in its history -- over the $300 million dollar mark.
After no one matched all six numbers in Wednesday's drawing, the jackpot is growing to $325 million for Saturday's drawing. The cash value lump sum is an estimated $212.8 million.
There have been 14 consecutive drawings without someone matching all the winning numbers.
Wednesday's numbers were 8, 18, 24, 30, 39 with 26 as the Powerball.
There were a total of 140,051 winning tickets in Florida. No one in the state matched all five numbers. Six tickets did get four numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.
It has been more than four years since the jackpot reached at least $310 million. The largest winning ticket sold was in February 2006 when workers at a Nebraska meatpacking plant split a $365 million jackpot.
The deadline to buy tickets for Saturday night's drawing in Florida is 10:00 p.m. EST.
