Pasco and Hernando County are offering specials on adoptable cats and dogs to clear space in their crowded shelters.
Pasco County Animal Services is overflowing with dogs. Adoption fees are currently waived on all dogs weighing at least 25 lbs. that are at least six months of age. The shelter at 19640 Dogpatch Lane in Land O' Lakes is open Wednesday from 12:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Hernando County Animal Control is offering $1 adoptions on Wednesday, September 30. All animals are vaccinated, licensed and microchipped. The shelter at 19450 Oliver Street in Brooksville is open Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
