IHOP offers free Count Spatula 'design-your-own' Scary Face Pancake to children on Friday

TAMPA BAY, Fla. - IHOP is celebrating Halloween a few days early this year.

Friday the restaurant chain is offering kids 12 and under a free Scary Face Pancake. The promotion is part of a national No Tricks - Just Treats program designed to provide kids with a safe and fun Halloween event

The Count Spatula "design-your-own" Scary Face Pancake includes an oversized signature buttermilk pancake with a whipped topping mouth and strawberry nose. It is served with two mini OREO cookies and candy corn on the side to allow kids to create their own Halloween hotcake.

The free Scary Face Pancake is available at all participating IHOP restaurants from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday.

Guests will also have a chance to help out the Children's Miracle Network (CMN).

"Pumpkin icons" are available for purchase for $1 at all area IHOP restaurants. Proceeds will be donated to a Children's Miracle Network Hospital in Tampa Bay.

The Children's Miracle Network was established nationally in 1983 to help children by actively supporting improved health care for millions of kids across the world. CMN's mission is to generate funds to help provide programs, services and treatment for sick and injured children, at the more than 170 nationwide member hospitals.
