PASCO COUNTY, Fla. - He was found asleep at the wheel in his SUV.
The vehicle was running, in neutral and in the middle of the road. The responding officer noted signs of impairment and the smell of alcohol.
Port Richey's Police Chief and O'Neill's friend Dave Brown showed up at the scene and relayed the fact O'Neill was on medication.
Paramedics suggested he be checked out at a local hospital. Shortly afterward the original case was closed as a medical call.
Today New Port Richey Chief Kim Bogart said the Pasco State Attorney's Office has asked for all of their evidence.
