Behind The Kitchen Door: Three restaurants earn perfect inspection scores over the last year

Local McDonalds earns perfect inspection scores

It's hard to get a perfect score on an inspection from the Division of Hotels and Restaurants.  It's even more challenging to keep that streak going for an entire year.  But that's what three places have done recently.

If you like hot dogs, you should head out to Pinellas County and visit one of the cleanest hot dog stands around at Dogilicous in St. Petersburg.

And in Hernando County, two places came away with perfect scores over the last 12 months. One is a country club and the other is a McDonald's.

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) through the Division of Hotels and Restaurants inspects restaurants throughout the state. State inspectors can return for multiple visits stemming from one inspection until problems are corrected.

The list below include seated and non-seated restaurants that received "zero" violations on every inspection over the last 12 months from its last inspection date, indicated below. Each report is a "snapshot" of conditions present at the time of the inspection.
