You can treat yourself to a Dairy Queen Blizzard on Thursday and help out ill kids in St. Petersburg.

Thursday is Dairy Queen's 11th annual Miracle Treat Day. The company will donate a minimum of one dollar for every Blizzard purchased to a local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. In the Tampa Bay area, money will go to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.

The Monster Jam truck Monster Mutt will be making an appearance at the Seminole DQ Grill & Chill in support of Miracle Treat Day. The Monster Jam team will take photos with fans, distribute free autograph cards and make Blizzard treats.

The truck will be at the Seminole location at 10820 Park Blvd. between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Dairy Queen is encouraging people to post photos of themselves enjoying a Blizzard on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #MiracleTreatDay or #MiracleTreatYourSelfie.

Money raised through the Miracle Treat Day promotion go to the 170 hospitals that are members of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Each year donations help provide 32 million treatments to kids across the U.S. and Canada.
