TAMPA, Fla - Are you ever curious about the real lives of politicians, celebrities, local newsmakers and athletes?

Each week, ABC Action News asks 10 questions of a Bay area leader, politician or even national celebrity.

We go beyond the questions that are news of the day. After all sometimes, we want know more about them. What's their favorite music? Greatest success? And who do they look up to?

This week an estimated thirty thousand people visited the Bay area, for the first every Bollywood award show in America. And now,  Indian mega star Anil Kapoor answers our 10 questions!

Kapoor's stardom in India is compared to America's Brad Pitt! I can see why. When I covered the green carpet over this week's events, Kapoor got some of the loudest applause. Some fans actually cried.

I witnessed a huge mob, when Kapoor agreed to a live interview for ACTION NEWS for the International Indian Film Academy's first event Stomp at Curtis . Tampa's SWAT team escorted him dowon the field as a huge crowd surrounded him. It is evident he is Indian film royalty!

He hopes to soon have the same recoginition in the U.S.

He has broken into the American film industry, with appearances in Mission Impossibe: Ghost Protocol, Slumdog Millionaire, and on the popular television show, "24."

Kappor's career has spanned over three and half decades. He is a multi-award winner starring in numerous Indian films.

Kapoor was so gracious to us each and every time we saw him. Always granting interviews, posing for pictures and very warm. Truly a class act.

He also did tell me that the International Indian Film Academy's event in Tampa was not only the biggest but the best.

On a person note, being in the middle of it all, I could not be prouder of our city!
