Getting to know Emmy award winning daytime actor Eric Martsolf with "10 questions"

We go beyond the questions that are news of the day. After all sometimes, we want know more about them. What's their favorite music? Greatest success? And who do they look up to?
 
This week, daytime actor Eric Martsolf answers our 10 questions! It's an exciting time for him, he just won his first Emmy for his role as a supporting actor in Days of Our Lives.

The actor also celebrates his 43 birthday this month.

And while he lives in California, he has traveled here to Florida, taking part in events promoting his show and daytime shows in general.

Martsolf is on your tv screen right now, but singing on a cruise ship for a year helped shape his career. He also got his face out there as as a model for more than 50 designers, businesses and companies.

Early on in his career he was a radio broadcaster and a singer/dancer at Hersheypark  in Pennsylvania. He also performed at  Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Martsolf earned a degree in Political Science from Dickinson College, in Pennsylvania.

He met his wife, Lisa Kouchak while doing musical theater together. They married in 2003 and three years later, the couple had twin sons, the pride of Martsolf's life!

1. What is your all time favorite movie or song?  

Scarface.

2. Do you have a Smartphone? If so, what's your favorite app?

I have an iPhone. My favorite app  would have to be beatthetraffic (necessity here in LA!).

3. Who do you count as your mentor(s)?

My mentor is my father.  He inspired me to lead and not follow, and has single handedly proven that lawyers can be honest men.


4. What was your very first job?

My first job was a singer at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania.

5. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?  

My only change to myself would be a greater level of patience.  I want things yesterday!

6. What do you consider your greatest success?  

Greatest success is my twin sons, Chase and Mason.  I am in awe of their importance to me.

 7. Tell us something about you most people don't know?

Most people do not know that I will spend ten minutes picking lint out of my car floor mats.

8. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?

I would dine with Abraham Lincoln, Steve Jobs, and Howard Stern

9. What is in your fridge right now?  

In my fridge there is Greek yogurt, bee pollen, and coconut shavings.

10. If you could have a different career, other than what you're doing now, what would it
be?
 

 If I wasn't an actor, I would most likely be an anchorman.  As close to Ron Burghandy as feasible!
