This time of year the nation turns its attention to honor the sacrifices of the American military heroes.

But come June, a group of veterans are ready to lighten things up.

That is when Laugh For The Troops comes to town.

This year marks the Second Annual Laugh For The Troops, launched by an organization with the same name that aims to raise attention and awareness of  veterans living with PTSD, said Ron DelSavio, vice president of business development for Laughs For The Troops.

The event is a night out for area military veterans. The organization is sponsoring about 600 area vets to make it possible so they can attend for free.

The event is will be at the David Straz Center in downtown Tampa at 8:30 p.m. June 4.
