TAMPA, Fla. - A bomb threat at the SkyPoint closed parts of downtown Saturday evening, according to Tampa Police.
The call came into Tampa police dispatch around 7 p.m.
Residents of condominium tower at 400 N Tampa St. were told to stay in their units while police and bomb-sniffing dogs searched the building. Several downtown blocks were also shut down during the search.
Police determined the bomb threat was a hoax, and the building and streets were re-opened just after 8 p.m.
Detectives are working to identify the person who called in the threat.
