Back to School: Free physicals and immunizations throughout the bay area

The first day of school is fast approaching.  Aside from school supplies, many students will be in need of physicals and immunizations.

Fortunately for parents, both will be provided for free throughout the bay area

Check out the list below with location, date, and time information:
  • Ed and Myrtle Lou Swindle Medical Arts Center
    • 1601 West Timberlane Dr, Plant City
    • Saturday, August 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    • Appointment Required - Call (813) 443-3048 
  • Eisenhower Middle School
    • 7620 Old Big Bend Rd, Gibsonton
    • Saturday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    • Walk-ins Only
  • Blake High School
    • 1701 North Boulevard, Tampa
    • Saturday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    • Appointment Required - Call (813) 443-3048 
  • Webb Middle School
    • 6035 Hanley Rd., Tampa
    • Saturday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    • Walk-ins Only
While back-to-school physicals and immunizations will be provided for free there are requirements that must be met to qualify; which includes:
  • Children must be school aged (K-12)
  • Immunization record is required 
  • Parent or legal guardian must accompany child at all times

No sports, Head Start or child care physicals will be available.

Also, those with Florida KidCare or private insurance are not eligible to participate.
