TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

(1) Nathan Gamble in Clearwater

Actor Nathan Gamble who plays Sawyer in Dolphin Tale and the upcoming Dolphin Tale 2 will appear at Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) and its sister location, Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure, on Wednesday.

Nathan will answer guests' questions during a Question & Answer session today at 11:30 a.m. in the CMA Theater. An additional Q&A session will occur at 2:00 p.m. in the Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure Building.

Guests will have a chance to take photos with Nathan at Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure at 3:00 p.m.

Gamble will make additional appearances for guests at the CMA through Saturday. For specific times, visit www.seewinter.com. Attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Admission to CMA is required for attendance.

A special autograph session with Nathan will occur for CMA members on Friday, April 4 at 5:45 p.m.

Dolphin Tale 2 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on September 19, 2014.

(2) Duke Energy protest

Hundreds of Tampa Bay residents say they will deliver more than 5,000 petitions to Duke Energy employees in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.

Members of the Sunshine State Clean Energy Coalition gather the signed petitions asking Duke Energy to stop relying on coal and natural gas to produce its energy. They are asking the company to invest in more clean energy for Floridians.

Organizers say they will gather in bright yellow t-shirts at noon in St. Petersburg's Williams Park, across from the Duke Energy building, for their peaceful protest.

Members of the Sierra Club are helping organizing today's event. The non-profit's Beyond Coal Campaign is trying to get America to stop using coal to generate its power. For more information on their campaign, visit content.sierraclub.org/coal/ .

(3) Food Truck Fiesta

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn's Food Truck Fiesta returns for to downtown Tampa on Wednesday.
 
Two new food trucks, Street Surfer and Jimmy Sliders, join the Fiesta this month.
 
Returning trucks include Jimmy Meatball, Hot Mess, Rollin Zoinks, Michelle Faedo, Aloha to Go, Smoothin and Shaken, and HolyHog BBQ.

The Food Truck Fiesta takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Lykes Gaslight Square Park on Franklin Street between Madison Street and Kennedy Boulevard.

(4) Lily Tomlin in concert

Comedian Lily Tomlin will perform a comedy concert at the Tampa Theatre on Wednesday night.

The 74-year-old Tomlin first came to national attention in 1969 in NBC's sketch comedy show Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In.

She earned an Academy Award nomination in 1975 for Nashville. Her biggest film hit came in 1980 when she starred alongside Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton in Nine to Five.

More recently, Tomlin has appeared on The West Wing, Desperate Housewives and Malibu Country.

Tonight's show begins at 8:00 p.m.

(5) Rutgers vs. USF

The University of South Florida women's basketball team will host Rutgers in a Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) semi-final game on Wednesday night.

USF beat Mississippi State 60-58 on Sunday on Courtney Williams' 3-point shot at the buzzer.

The Bulls (23-12) are looking to become the first school to win the WNIT twice. They won the tournament in 2009.

Tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Sun Dome. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children. USF students can attend for free. For more information, visit www.gousfbulls.com .

The winner of tonight's game will play the winner of UTEP and South Dakota State in the WNIT finals. A time and date for the final game has not been determined.
