TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Thursday, December 19.

(1) GED test deadline

Thursday is the deadline for people to complete the current GED test or risk having to start the process over.

All partial scores from the current exam will not be carried over to the new test which debuts in January.

New GED testing standards are being implemented next month and the current scores do not correlate to the new test.

Starting in January all GED tests will also only be offered on computers.

(2) Nashville Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to make it three wins in a row when they host the Nashville Predators at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Thursday night.

Valtteri Filppula was the star in the Lightning's 3-2 shootout win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday night. He scored two goals in the final 2:53 of regulation and added another goal in the shootout.

Nashville are seeking to continue their recent road success that has seen them win four of their last five games away from home.

The Predators won the last three times they played the Lightning. Their most recent win was a 5-3 victory in Nashville on October 27, 2011.

(3) Justin Timberlake: The 20/20 Experience World Tour

Justin Timberlake will return to his old 'N Sync stomping grounds on Thursday night. Timberlake brings his The 20/20 Experience World Tour to the Amway Center in Orlando tonight.

The world tour, Timberlake's first in six years, will see him visit dozens of countries throughout North America, Europe, South America and Australia.

The Orlando concert will not be his only shows in Florida. The 20/20 Experience will make stops in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami in March. Unfortunately for Bay Area fans, Timberlake is not coming to Tampa.

(4) Santa arrives by elephant

One jolly old elf will spread some holiday cheer in a unique way on Thursday.

Students from E.L. Bing Elementary School will receive the visit of a lifetime when Santa Claus arrives on an elephant today at 10:00 a.m.

He will arrive on a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey pachyderm ready to hand out gifts to 100 of the school's top performing students.

Students will receive tickets to the world-premiere of Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Presents LEGENDS along with additional holiday goodies.

The circus is playing at the Tampa Bay Times Forum from January 1 to 5.

(5) Busiest USPS package day

Post office workers will be busy delivering lots of Christmas packages on Thursday. The U.S. Postal Service says today will be its busiest day for package deliveries.

This year the USPS projects it will ship about 420 million package this holiday season.

The deadline to send items by First-Class Mail to ensure they arrive in time for Christmas is Friday, December 20.

Your packages can still arrive in time if you ship them using Priority Mail by Saturday, December 21. Overnight shipment for delivery on Christmas Eve using Priority Mail Express is also an option.
