TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Monday, November 12.

(1) James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital Veterans' Day Parade

The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa is honoring veterans with a ceremony, parade and cookout on Monday.

More than 51 veteran and civic groups are scheduled to march in the parade.

The parade begins in the Freedom Parking Lot, turns right onto Livingston Avenue, enters the hospital campus, continues onto Richard A. Silver Way, before turning left in front of the Fisher House and ending in the visitor parking lot.

The route is approximately one mile in length.

Antique cars will be on display in the hospital Diamond parking lot and a cookout follows the ceremony.

The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and is open to the public.

(2) Dalí Museum Veterans' Day ceremony

The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg is honoring veterans on Monday.

The museum will host a public ceremony at the Dalí Wish Tree in the gardens

The Admiral Farragut Academy Exhibition Drill Team will open the event. Anyone will have the opportunity to read their wishes aloud during the ceremony before hanging them on the Tree.

A selection of wishes received by mail will be read aloud during the ceremony and hung on the Tree.

Admission to the Dalí Museum will be free to veterans, military, police and firefighters with ID on Monday. Immediate family members will receive a special reduced admission rate.

The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public.

(3) Pets for Vets

Hillsborough County Animal Services is offering a special deal for veterans on Monday.

Animal Services is offering half-prices pet adoptions today to all active or retired military members during the Pets for Vets special. All adult cats (age one year and older) may be adopted for just $20.

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip, Hillsborough County registration tag, and veterinary health check.

All adopters today will receive a patriotic pet goodie bag.

Hillsborough County Animal Services is located at 440 North Falkenburg Road in Tampa. The shelter will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today.

(4) Thanksgiving Holiday Click It or Ticket Enforcement

Law enforcement departments across Florida and the country begin their Thanksgiving Holiday Click It or Ticket Enforcement program on Monday.

The Thanksgiving holiday period is one of the busiest travel times of the year and officers want all travelers to stay safe by buckling their seat belts

Accident statistics show during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, 64 percent of nighttime fatalities involve unbelted passengers.

During 2010, over half of the 22,187 people who died crashes were not wearing their seat belts at the time of their accident.

In Florida the cost for a seatbelt violation is $30. All front seat passengers and children under 18 years of age are required to wear a seat belt of be restrained by a child car seat.

(5) Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Monday is the final day to take advantage of the best in culinary adventures at Walt Disney World.

Today is the final day for Epcot's 17th Annual International Food & Wine Festival.

The event features celebrity chef demonstrations, wine and beverage seminars, food samples from around the world, and other unique dining events.

Epcot admission is required to attend the Food & Wine Festival. Most events require ticket fees in addition to theme park admission. Ticket availability is limited for some events.
