Missing 16-year-old Valrico girl may be with registered sexual offender

VALRICO, Fla. - A 16-year-old Valrico girl who went missing on Wednesday, June 11 may be in the company of a registered sexual offender, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Ashley Lyon left her her home at 4705 Water Lark Way around 4 p.m.. She is diagnosed as bi-polar and did not take her medications with with her.

Investigators believe she may be with Steven Patrick Myers, 41, whose address is 6801 N. Dormany Road in Plant City.

Ashley is described as 5'6", 175 lbs, large build, black hair - crew cut style and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black gym shorts, black "Vans" shoes and may be in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick up truck with flames painted on the front and sides. The license tag # is CSJ-M45.

It's believed Ashley may be in the southeastern area of Hillsborough County.
