Arrest made in early morning Wimauma fires

WIMAUMA, Fla. - UPDATE: Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reports an arrest in multiple arsons in the Wimauma area early Monday morning.

Pedro Petey Senteno III, 24, is charged with 2 counts of arson of a dwelling and 1 count of vehicle arson.

PREVIOUS REPORT: Hillsborough officials investigating three trailers and a semi cab catching fire in a Wimauma community say it is possibly arson.

The fire originally started with a trailer and a tractor radiating heat at 5302 Bonita Drive around 4:30 in the morning and quickly spread to three other structures.

One trailer, between two other trailers, was fully involved. The trailers surrounding the engulfed trailer then caught fire.

Nacole Ravette with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue says they are interested in speaking to a person, or persons that were seen driving through the neighborhood.

"This morning there was a report of a mini-van leaving the scene earlier. Possibly a Chevy, possible green. We're urging anyone to call the fire marshal's office," she says.

Ravette says someone also tried lighting another mobile home.

"When we arrived on scene there were three that were involved, and there was another incident where stairs were on fire but it snuffed itself out," she says.

The three trailers were unoccupied and there were no injuries.
