VALRICO, Fla. - Deputies arrested a suspect Tuesday in a mother's homicide in Valrico, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Michael Jason Fields, 32, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, after finding a  pair of his pajama pants with blood stains on them.

Fields had called 9-1-1 Tuesday afternoon to report he had found his girlfriend, dead outside his home at 2709 St. Clouds Oak Drive in Valrico.

The body of Christina Mahzamani, 32, of Brandon, was found there with upper body trauma.
