'Randall,' the voice behind the viral sensation Honey Badger video, announces Honey Badger Party

YBOR CITY, Fla. - The Roosevelt 2.0 in Ybor could be the hippest campaign headquarters in the 2012 presidential election.

At a press conference Tuesday evening, Randall, the voice behind "The Crazy Nastya**Honey Badger," announced Honey Badger is running for president.  Randall is taking on the role of press secretary.

Honey Badger gained international fame via YouTube. More than 50 million people watched the video Randall voiced and quickly became acquainted with 'the most fearless animal on Earth.'  The world quickly learned that honey badgers run backwards, eat cobras and can handle thousands of bee stings.

Sounds like Honey Badger is tough enough to run America, right?  Well, Randall thought so and went to work forming the Honey Badger Party.

The humorous campaign comes with t-shirts and the campaign slogan is the famous catchphrase "Honey Badger Don't Care."

But this campaign, while fictional, does come with a real life platform.

"Plain and simple; we're living in a way that's not sustainable – and we're talking in terms of both environmental AND economic terms," Randall wrote on the campaign website. We're seeing and feeling the effects of that more every day. The old paradigm of economics, environmentalism and personal well being as competing interests is no longer working."

Bottom line, Honey Badger doesn't want to keep on talking out issues. Instead, this furry little guy wants solutions.

One of Honey Badger's solutions is to support the construction of a clean energy system.

"We will take half a city block off the grid powered by garbage from our community and show the world that it can be done," Randall writes.

Honey Badger is promising to attack problems head on much like he eats snakes head first.

He also insists his campaign will not deal with birth certificates or tax returns.
