The installation of a sign will close Interstate 275 in both directions Monday night at Westshore Boulevard, creating multiple detours.
The closure will begin 11:30 p.m. and continue to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday so crews can install the sign over the northbound lanes.
Traffic officials suggest using the following detours:
NORTHBOUND I-275: Take exit 39A to eastbound Kennedy Boulevard (State Road 60). Take Kennedy Boulevard east to Westshore Boulevard and then go north to the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.
SOUTHBOUND I-275: Take exit 40A to Westshore Boulevard and turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Head north and turn west on Cypress Street. After passing under the Memorial Highway overpass, turn left to enter southbound I-257.
EASTBOUND STATE ROAD 60 to NORTHBOUND I-275: Pass the I-275 loop entrance ramp and enter onto eastbound Kennedy Boulevard. Turn left onto Westshore Boulevard and then take the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.
SOUTHBOUND DETOUR FOR SOUTHBOUND I-275 to WESTBOUND STATE ROAD 60: Take Exit 40A to Westshore Boulevard. Turn right at the bottom off the ramp and drive north on Westshore Boulevard. Turn left onto Spruce Street and head west to the westbound SR 60 ramp next to Tampa International Airport.
