Arrest warrant issued for Steven Myers in search for missing Valrico girl, Ashley Lyon

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for a Plant City man in connection with last week's disappearance of a 16-year-old Valrico girl, Ashley A. Lyon.

Steven Myers, 41, is a registered sex offender. He's now wanted for interference with child custody, attempted unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and traveling to meet a minor.

Lyon left her her home at 4705 Water Lark Way around 4 p.m. on June 11. She is  bi-polar and did not take her medications with with her.

According to a statement from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office the warrant was issued "as a result of recent developments and newly discovered evidence."

Ashley is 5'6", 175 pounds with a large build and black, crew-cut style hair. She has brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black gym shorts, black Vans brand shoes.
