Obesity' journal study: Weight Watchers effective, compared to health professional

A new study shows that commercial weight loss programs like Weight Watchers may be just as effective, or possibly better, than working with a health professional.

The study was published in Obesity, a health journal.
According to WebMD.com,  twice as many dieters on Weight Watchers lost at least 10 percent of their weight compared to people with a health professional.
The study was completed by monitoring 141 overweight and obese adults, WebMD wrote.
The findings are reportedly a big deal because clinical programs are usually more expensive.
