New First Warning System bra detect breast cancer tumors, creators say

Catching early signs of breast cancer could be as easy as putting on a bra, according to the makers of a First Warning Systems.

Lifeline Biotechnologies created First Warning Systems to screen for breast tissue abnormalities, the Huffington Post reports.

The bra has been under development for the last two decades, and the makers claim it can detect cancer due to sensitive sensors inside the bra that identify small temperature changes in breast tissue and catch tumors.

The product, referred to as a smart bra, is said to identify abnormalities with a 90 percent and higher accuracy rate for all women.

SmartPlanet.com reports that if the bra continues to pass the trial stage, it will be sold in Europe in 2013 and then America in 2014 for about $1,000 a pop.
