New bill proposal allows Ariz. employers to ask women, "Why are you on the pill?"

From pregnancy prevention and acne control to menstrual regulation and hormone balancing, there are plenty of reasons why women take birth control, but a new bill could force Arizona women to tell employers why they're on it.

Lawmakers are proposing a bill that would allow Arizona businesses to deny birth control coverage if they find the usage unethical or immoral.

This would allow women to questioned as to how they plan to use the pill.

There's already an Arizona law that lets religious employers deny contraceptive coverage according to their discretion, CNN reports.

The bill would extend the law to all businesses.

It has made it's way through the house and it will need the senate's approval to pass.
