April 29 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a chance to safely get rid of old medicine you don't need anymore.
The DEA collected more than 366 tons last year across the country. The idea is to help fight the drug addiction epidemic.
Many local police and sheriff departments are participating and there are drop off sites all over Tampa Bay.
