If you are in downtown Tampa today, you can take advantage of free mac and cheese.
Uber and Friends of the Riverwalk have teamed up with Holy Hog ahead of Saturday's Mayor's Mac & Cheese Throwdown. Holy Hog won last year's competition.
Between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Uber will deliver a sampler pack of mac and cheese from Holy Hog.
Here's how:
1. Open the Uber app anytime between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2. There is a Mac & Cheese option in your slider. Slide over to it.
3. Tap "REQUEST MAC"
4. Your FREE snack will be en route.
Demand will probably be high, so it's recommended to check your Uber app often if your initial requests are unsuccessful. The deal is offered while supplies (i.e. the mac and cheese) last.
The Mayor's Mac & Cheese Throwdown begins on Saturday at Curtis Hixon Park at 4 p.m. as part of this weekend's Riverfest.
