Amber Alert cancelled for 6 year old girl from Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UPDATE:

This is a cancellation to the Florida Amber Alert that was activated on 12/27/2013 for ONNIKA FISHER. The case has been resolved.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A Florida Amber Alert was issued for a 6-year-old Jacksonville girl.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Onnika Fisher was last seen in the area of the 6000 block of Dupont Station Court in Jacksonville. She is described as a biracial female, 46 inches tall, 53 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with white polka dot lining and blue jeans.

Authorities believe she may be in the company of her mother, Charity Chatman, 39, who took her after their supervised visit at a Jewish Family and Community Service Center just before 5 p.m. Friday. Chatman is described as a black female who's 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say Chatman has a history of mental illness and police are concerned for the child's welfare.
