A 5-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found in the water in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A 5-year-old boy has passed away after being found in the water in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said they responded to a call saying that Jamirreeus Broward went missing from 801 3rd St. S. shortly before 7:00 p.m.
According to officials, a family was fishing when they last saw the child on the sea wall.
The Fire Rescue Dive Team located Broward in the water at 7:28 p.m. and paramedics performed CPR and transported him to the hospital.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
