OLDSMAR, FL -- When Ken Karpman's hedge fund business went belly up, he got a job as a pizza delivery man to make ends meet.
Ken earns minimum wage plus tips pushing pizza for Mike's Pizza and Deli Station in Clearwater.
He did it because he has a wife and two kids to feed.
Any job was better than no job.
However, after ABC Action News.com started reporting on Karpman's work ethic, people started taking notice of the 48-year-old former Wall Street whiz.
First ABC's 20/20 and Good Morning America contacted Ken to do reports. Now Dr. Phil and Oprah are calling.
More importantly, dozens of people have emailed ABC Action News.com reporter Don Germaise - who broke the story - to offer Karpman a job. Karpman says his phone is ringing off the hook and companies from all over the country are writing to offer him positions. Some are not much better than pizza delivery driver, but many are executive positions, with executive salaries.
Karpman said, "It's overwhelming. I don't have time to answer all the emails." Karpman spent the day wading through the offers. Tonight, he heads back to Mike's to deliver pizza.
Ken's boss, Mike Dodaro, told ABC Action News.com, "I know he'll (Ken) land on his feet and he's the type of guy who will help other people when he does."
